I know he's fighting Wright in March, where I can see Williams work-rate being enough to secure a ud but he hasn't really confirmed if he'll stay in one division or fluctuate between all three?

So who could beat him and how?

Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Forrest, Santos, Pavlik, Abraham????

I'd pick Cotto, a well prepared Winky, Santos, Pavlik, Abraham and a well prepared Mundine for sure, with Clottey, Dzinziruk, Margarito and maybe Sturm in a close fight. Martinez would be an early call, I'll have to wait and see how he fights vs. Santos.

The Quintana fight is the key. It was not a lucky night for Carlos, he fought the perfect fight, and made Williams look limited when not in control. Of course he was on his ass quickly in the rematch, but nothing can take away the first fight, when Quintana clearly outsmarted and outboxed a much bigger Williams. So it's safe to think that there are several other intelligent fighters who can do it, while the likes or Margarito, Pavlik or Abraham has the physical advantage to cause him problems.

Cotto, Pavlik, Abraham, Santos, Margarito and Martinez.

The guys above are who i would pick to beat him although i wouldnt be surprised if Williams won himself.

I think, bar forest, clottey and santos, all have a reasonable chance of beating him, especially cotto and magarito, pavlik may be out boxed.

Funny, he already beat Margarito. We still give Margarito a chance? Margarito has aged and not improved since the last fight. Paul Williams is still improving in his youth. I can see Arthur Abraham giving him a fight. That analysis is derived from Paul Williams non-authoritative job. If his jab became more potent, as Tommy Hearns was, then there would not be a person in ANY weight who could deal with a barrage of will, endurance or quantity and quality of punches.

Williams is still a question mark and he is in an underrated division. Dizi, Martinez, Santos would all have a great shot.
