    3 on 1 abit unfair

    just joking

frzier vs Norton: i see frazier bossing him around working the body well for a UD or a late stoppage

Frazier vs Lyle: I see frazier coming out and beating him until walking on to a few right Hands and the ref stopping it around the 7th (with frazier winning)

Frazier vs Shavers: the same as the foreman fight

    Prime for prime:

    Frazier TKO5 Norton

    Frazier UD12 Lyle - if it's 15 rounds, probably a late TKO

    Frazier TKO3 Shavers

If we're talking about these fights in reality then it's a different story, because Joe declined badly when these men were at their peaks. Post 75, he'd probably lose to all three of them. I'd say he beats Norton anywhere before Manilla as well as Lyle (he thrashed Quarry who convincingly outpointed Lyle) and Shavers.

While I agree in general with this, I don't think the "Frazier beat Quarry beat Lyle"- deduction is a very strong one. Quarry's counter punching style (with a brawling touch) was well suited for guys like Lyle, but I don't think Frazier is that stylistically well suited for him. However, I would favour Frazier against both Lyle and Shavers, but not by a great margin.

I think Norton would be perhaps most likely to give Frazier trouble in the sense of taking competitive rounds off him, but would be the most "sure thing" match-up of these three in terms of the eventual outcome. Shavers would have a puncher's chance, but would more than likely be promptly dusted, while Lyle would have the best chance of the three, given his size, power and somewhat Foreman-esque style.

    Estimates:
    Frazier KO 7 Norton
    Frazier KO 4 Shavers
Frazier KO 11 or UD Lyle.

I agree, but i'd still pick Frazier to dig out a win on attrition. Lyle is a heavy hitter, but i don't think he's the explosive starter you need, to stop Joe from "smoking".

Frazier TKO 4 Norton- Kenny would give him some trouble the first two rounds but gets thrashed in the next two.

Frazier TKO 3 Shavers- Frazier might go down in the first from a big right hand but will battle back to stop Shavers.

Frazier Late TKO Lyle- Again, Frazier might go down early but as the fight wears on, Frazier grinds down Lyle for a late stoppage.

If Frazier gets wobbled early against Shavers like he did against Ali, Bonavena, Manuel Ramos, & George, well it's all she wrote.

The other two, Norton who he sparred with, and Lyle, he should be able outpoint or stop late.

Shavers he outpoints if Joe gets by round 3.

I'm in agreement with all who pick Frazier to defeat all three. I won't make assumptions about the exact nature of the endings, but Frazier was simply in a highter class than those men and had the right stuff to beat them in my opinion.

I am one who believes Frazier should have fought at least one of these fighters, and a win over any of them would have enhanced Frazier’s resume big time.

I’d make Norton, Lyle, and Shavers very live under dogs vs a prime Joe Frazier.

I would take Frazier over all of them.

Norton is the only one I think might be competitive with him, but I feel Frazier with his greater all around speed and durability should take it. Norton could possibly make Frazier back up, but Frazier's skill and counterpunching ability is underrated, and I just don't think Norton could stand up to Frazier's waves of powerpunches.

Shavers would have a puncher's chance, if even that.

Lyle I see having the least chance of all.
