I thought there was another one, Ricky Hatton is always talking about him.

I'm not sure about your post (no offence), but a comma can make all the difference. :good

    :rofl

My pick is not based on hate. Otherwise I would not have been correct on every single outcome in Ricky Hatton's career.

It is based on Pacquiao being infinitely superior, and horribly wrong for him.

But did you mean "i'm not sure pac looks too rapid" (you don't think that Pac looks very fast) or "i'm not sure, pac looks too rapid" (you don't know about Hattons chances as you think that Pac is too quick for him) I'm not being patronising, I just want to understand your point :good

If its the first point, then I agree, I don't think that Pacs supposed speed is evident in the clip. Oscar looks like a corpse and couldn't walk in any straighter if he tried....he looks like an unschooled amateur he is so ****ed.

I've been a Hatton fan since before his WBU days, and it would be difficult to label me a hater, but I don't think Ricky's chances look at all good against the Pacman. I can foresee him eating an awful lot of straight lefts, which Pacquiao throws better than anyone else in the game today (imo).

Hatton has never been very comfortable against southpaws (remember the almost-nightmare against Magee?); He is often caught at will by jabs (which he admittedly shrugs off without a problem); so how Hatton cope with Pac's jab-like straight left round after round as he tries to walk him down?

Of course I can see that certain factors favour the hitman, and if he can cope with the sharpness of the Pacman he's got a great chance, but I'm still predicting that Hatton gets tagged frequently in the first few rounds, becomes more ragged as the fight wears on, and is stopped either on his feet or on cuts around round 9 or 10.

so you have been correct on every one of his fights,so you thought he would win everyone of his fights apart from one,(i had him beating mayweather,so you one up on me)not rocket science is it really mate, how come you hate him so much then,if you thought he would beat, malliargi or kosta, one of the p4p at the time?:hey

I went for Hatton by SD against Floyd, more in hope than anything else.

Fair enough...I had Floyd beating Hatton easily, but I didn't see the KO coming ...bit like Ricky

The first five/six were pretty close, though Floyd did have a lead.

    From then on......

Yeah, as soon as Ricky lost his head it was all over.

I think the Hitman may surprise a few critics against Pacman though.

I'm backing Ricky to overcome Manny. The natural size difference will be too much (although I said the same prior to the ODLH fight!)

I think the fact that Hatton will be throwing back will make a big difference.

Pacquiao has looked exceptional against the likes of Diaz and Oscar because they have moved around the ring in a similar manner to Samuel Peter.

Hatton will not only force Pac back (or at least fight in the middle) but will actually throw punches (big plus :deal) and won't eat every single punch that comes his way.

Yes, you are correct. I am 46-0 on picking Hatton's fights.

Malignaggi wasn't p4p in his own house. I picked him over Tszyu based on styles, Tszyu's inactivity in the previous 2 years, and what happened against Vince Phillips. Great for him, but one swallow does not make a summer, and it was full of dirty tactics. The whole episode was likely contrived with David Parris.
