Froch needs to be careful what he wishes for. As a Brit Ill always support, but he hasnt been in with any fighter even close to elite. Taylor will deal with him. Calzaghe and Kessler would destroy him. Hes been moved along very slowly for a reason. Dont buy into this "waiting for the WBC belt" nonsense.

And yet Froch beat a good fighter in Pascal. Pascal was fresh, young, ambitious. You didn't see Calzaghe in too many of those bouts. Froch was willing to fight Inkin as well, on 2 occasions but the skilled Russian didn't want any of it.

Injuries have slowed him down big time, and let's not forget, Sky wanted domestic fight after domestic fight to make up for the SN rubbish they had served up before Warren had taken his fighters to ITV; European title politics also slowed things down. The main thing is Froch has got there.

Taylor - a former middleweight lacking killer instinct and initiative. Does enough to fight on even terms in nip and tuck fights. Doesn't like the hard physical fights. Compared to Taylor, Froch is a spartan and I'd pick him to win. JT has experience and can make things difficult, but I'm not convinced he can carry 168 pounds very well. This is a great fight to establish Froch. The Pavlik fights will give a puncher like Froch plenty to work on, as they basically showed that Taylor does NOT like to be made to work.

When was the last time Calzaghe "destroyed" anyone? Brits should get behind Froch - he doesn't believe in taking the easiest possible fights.

Taylor has ducked Froch before so I'd be very surprised if he accepted the fight now

I stopped reading here, Pascal was anything but fresh , or ambitious.

He practically gave up during his fight with Froch and went into survival mode. He was horribly conditioned and it showed in the entire last half of the fight. Anyone who is "fresh" or "ambitious" would not have fought the fight that Pascal did.

Pascal was unbeaten, relatively young, with it all ahead of him, strong, with fast hands. As opposed to fighters who are pushed into title fights past their best, on the way down, with injuries ala many of Calzaghe's fights. He certainly didn't give up.

Pascal got worn down by the better, stronger, fitter fighter - in the final third. He doesn't like fighting at a pace - we can agree on that - as he likes to throw quick shots from the outside.

Jermain Taylor has faded at a similar point in many of his fights. He is a desultory fighter, doesn't have much spark about him at 168 pounds.

Did you watch the Lacy fight or even when he fought Pavlik at 164 ? He has been draining himself for years to make 160. At 168 he looked as strong as ever... and even after a very draining fight which had a lot of wrestling , he was still throwing fast and powerful combinations in the 12th. Lacy is and never was that great... but he has heart, and a good chin. Taylor had him wobbled bad in that fight. I would put my money on Taylor against everyone at 168 except for Kessler , which I think is a close fight.

And enough of this "taylor is ducking froch" crap. If you know anything about how Boxing works , you would know that he doesn't really have much say into who is he fights... that would be up to the Promoters. And its never as easy as you may thing it is to get a fight made. Dibella looks at Taylor in terms of a long term investment

The reason you stopped reading is because you can't, and also you didn't see the froch/pascal fight so STFU.
You've been exposed by your very own post. ******.
