Watch the older tapes of Joe C.-he had power not a great deal but decent power early in his career.
He has KO'd 70% of his opponents-nothing to be ashamed of higher than Roy Jones, and higher than nearly all of the good super middleweights.

Joe has always been aggressive, he injured his hands against Reid a long time ago, then again in the Ashira fight, then again in the Johnson build-up, then again in the re-schedule for Johnson, and again in training for Lacy etc etc.

Joe was once 25-0 (23) and one Hell of a Fighter, his awkward style was even worse back then though, probably because he has NEVER had a proper trainer, no disrespect Enzo, but you're a Musician at heart, not a savvy trainer, yet Joe still made it, even though he has trained in a tiny blue barn by his Musician Dad.

The Mitchell fight is a classic pre-Lacy type Calzaghe, he was dropped by a Great shot in Round 2, up at the count of 1, Byron thought he could finish Calzaghe, that was the BIGGEST mistake he ever made, Calzaghe dropped Mitchell within 10 seconds of the re-start and threw a crazy, almost Psychotic 26 punch combo to win, in round 2.

Nobody has ever tried to stop Calzaghe since, with good reason, he goes absolutely Mad, like a Mad-Man, he loves a tear-up, Joe struggles with cautious, defensive fighters, he always has, he has had a few KDs in his career, mainly because his balance was off, I've never seen Joe hurt, I've seen him stunned, but never for more than a second. He is a MUCH BETTER Boxer nowadays, tho he's still a Hot-Head.

Don't let his haters confuse you, if you meet him in person you'll be shocked, he's one BIG Mother ****er and a Calzaghe without injury is invincible at 168.

I wouldn't say Joe is much different than when he was younger...alot of fighters "box" more than "brawl" when they get older...Joe is mos def not a brawler...He throws punches in combos..most of them are straight punches and very short...Joe has knocked anyone out (other than Manfredo) since May 2005...
