Alex Arthur,the WBO Super Featherweight Champion,fights for an international title against an unnamed opponent in Glasgow on March 27th. Exactly as the Daily Record had it printed today, still a champ it seems. Anyways , this is gonna be on the Burns - Gomez night aye, still not seen the tickets for sale yet. Arthur should tell Frank he wants big fights only, BIG names. He said he was gonna do that recently,i thought he would of been doing that ages ago. Khan is a damn sound start too. Big names will see big fights from him. Katsidas would be a damn sound fight for both of them too. Ones only entering the weight and has euro class no problem. One has had some bigger names on his resume and brings a tear up. Both as people have mentioned seem to have found there levels,who knows really. Mon arfuuuuuuuuuuuur :happy
hopefully Alex gets some big dogs like Barrera, Diaz and Marquez.....no need to be fighting domestic guys like Cook and Gomez.

Wouldn't fancy Arthurs chances against Katsidis until I've seen him at Lightweight. Katsidis would walk through anything Arthur dished out in my opinion and could drag him into another fight like the Gomez one.
atsch What exactly has Arthur done to deserve those fights? Being gifted a world title and losing it in his first defence, against what seemed to be a handpicked opponent? Cook ought to be looking at those fights, Arthur needs to rematch Gomez or fight Kevin Mitchell.
Agreed, but i give him a chance and i reckon win/lose we see him in a battle,as long as it lasted. Not a good career move atm regarding the weight nah but be nice to see. Maybe get right up for it.Arthur wanting to prove himself at the new weight and against a boy who has taken a fair few punches, could be a bit done. Always seems to be in hard fights. Arthur is very good at Brit and Euro level.But i dont think he will ever get too far at world title level.
arthur needs to start again at lightweight,warren will give him dummies to fight,why not get him started with the winner of the lightweight contender bill,that would be as good test for him at the new weight,i also think khan would murder him
