But tips won't be enough. Pac is a great fighter, Khan is a chinny ****. Roach could give tips to Henry Castle on how to beat Barrera but that doesn't mean he will.

No. Despite the fact sky will say "Khan has beaten a legend. He's now joined Pacquiao, Morales and Marquez as one of the greats. He can be considered alongside Hatton, Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis as a British great." I say **** off Khan.

I voted 'maybe'...It depends exactly how near to being shot MAB is, if Khan just wins on points against a tiring and obviously not anywhere near the same man, then I would not take the result into too much account. If however, Khan is strong in defence and can manage to hurt and beat an eager and hungry MAB then I will be jumping in both feet first on to the Khan bandwagon.

I would love him to do it. Love it.

Good points well made, which I had omitted (unintentionally). I still have a feeling though that MAB is past it, given the reason for the fight being made!

This fight isn't an entirely great idea.

If Khan takes out a past it MAB it could actually see him lose even more "true" boxing fans.

No-one wants to see a legend getting caned by a chinny ****.

I'll give him some credit, but not alot. He has big size advantages here and MAB should really be retired right now.

Still looking forward to the fight it must be said!

If Khan wins i'll give him credit. MAB isnt shot. He's past prime. Big difference.

It would be a good win over a great fighter.

roach has advised this fight and he and warren obviously wont put khan into a fight they think they will lose so soon after prescott,
barrerra was a favourite fighter of mine back in the day and i dont want to see him getting beat only because he is too past it and amir is still so fresh, this is a big fight for me

also it makes sence for warren as barrerra's name = PPV

was talking to campbell I asked him about the possibility of him defending agains khan/arthur he said he would be more than happy to fight khan.

He also said he wanted to fight khan in sept but khan went to fight prescott (which was understandable at the time)

One of the reasons why I dont like this match is because even if he wins, what does it prove, MAB is past his peak...which was at featherweight.

I do feel this is a strong test for Khan however, but ill struggle giving him real props as its hard to tell was Marco has left!

Id prefer to see him fight top domestic talent before moving on to genuine world class, then we can judge/praise/critisize him fairly!

If Khan can do it it's a great win

    Regardless of any factors

Consensus is that Khan hasn't exceeded UK level yet - so to go from that to beating the WBO no.1 ranked Barrera has to be viewed as a great win for Khan...

Dunno what MAB has left but I don't like saying that cos MAB has a great record of comebacks after career ending losses.

MAB should win unless size or age is an issue. MAB is a great fight though. I'd like to see Khan win, especially after MAB humiliated Britain against Naz :)

Khan has to be smart, prepare for 12 rounds, box him, use his jab, speed and youth in general. He has a good height and reach on him though.
