MAB has a heart of a champion . . . you don't under estimate the heart of a champion.

Khan has speed and accuracy to keep it interesting but he doesn't have very good power, where has this common misconception come from?

When he has taken people out it is generally due to overwelming them with fast accurate punches, but after throwing he seems to just stand there instead of getting out, this is where he will get caught and taken out.

Khan better watchout if he is winning :D:D:D. He might get knock out by a head butt or a hit at the break :rofl. I'm sure Roach will inform him .

I don't know about your last comment. Why would he be finished if he loses to a legend, who recently went 12 with JMM and PacMan? Barrera is after the LW titles, excellent chances to face Nate Campbell if he beats Khan, and MAB vs. Campbell is an absolutely 50/50 fight.

This one is very early for Khan, huge risk and MAB is not done. What Warren and Roach see I think a focused, well prepared, defensively on his game Khan, who could jab his way through 12 rounds using speed and reach advantage, which most definitely can happen based on the difference in those area. BUT! His chin is a huge letdown, and Barrera is an excellent counter-puncher. No way Khan can go 12 without getting hit, and you don't want to get hit by any version of Barrera.

But losing to him is not the end of the world. Fortunately for the very unfortunate Khan, now way he can lose even worse than getting KTFU vs. a totally unknown fighter in a minute. Losing to Barrera, let's say by TKO in round 6, leading on the scorecards will not finish his career. He can still spend 2 years in Roach's gym totally focused on defense, and still be only 24.

It was Barrera himself who came back after bad losses.

Barrera was already a World Champion and recognised in the p4p top 10 by the time he suffered his first loss. He had over 40 fights.

The only way Khan takes this is if Barrera is completely shot. Raw talent and Freddie Roach can't keep that chin from crumbling again. A true, non-shopworn world class fighter with some pop will test it at least a few times....

So what? Hopkins suffered his first lost in his first pro fight. Jersey Joe Walcoot lost twice in his first 15 fights.

Khans chin will stop him being a world beater, but losing an early fight is not important and has become a ridiculous part of modern boxing where keeping your 0 is seen as more worthwhile than really advancing your skill set by taking real tests.
