Im new on here and i mostly come on here and read a few posts and get a few laughs(yall sum funny dudes:rofl)and make a few comments myself and i see alot of Margarito fans talking about Mayweather is scared and ducking Tony and he would kill Mayweather so i wanted to ask yall a real question......

    Can Margarito really beat Mayweather??

I've been watching boxing for about 12 years now and Floyd is the best fighter(skill wise) of my time and Tony has gotta be the toughest fighter of my time.So does Tony have what it takes to beat Floyd?Im a fan of both fighters and would love to see this fight but I think Floyd takes the fight by UD.When Tony fought Cotto he was out boxed for 5 straight rounds and if Cotto would have had better stamina (and not got KTFO)he could have took the fight.I think imo that's what we would see for 12 straight rounds. Floyd would outbox Tony and not let Tony beat on him like Cotto did.I did think Tony is the best welterweight out there but he can easily be hit BUT he got the heart of a lion and a chin like Mount Rushmore. So let me know what yall think..

This is the 100000th thread on this. But i'll still drop a dime. :good

Floyd isn't the same fighter who fought @ 130, 135, or 140. The 147 version of floyd is too economic with his punches. He's not gonna win throwing 400 punches vs. a guy who'll throw 1000. Especially when he can't expect to really hurt him. Margarito will chase him down and hit him everywhere on his body for three minutes. Sure floyd could back peddle all night, but he ain't going to win that way either. He'd need tostand his ground place himself to get good punches off, and when he does, he's getting more return fire back.

I don't know . . . maybe not . . . but PBF will stay retired to make sure he won't meet the guy in the ring. :deal

Hypothetically speaking YES,.....realisticly that won't ever happen, because
Gayweather is lacking the cajones to ever step into the ring with Margie.

The only time he would do it is true to his usual form....when Margie is
    what Gatti is today.....washed up.

Margo is a good fighter and has tremendous heart, chin and workrate. He always keeps coming forward and hits you where ever he can. Though I think he gets overrated a bit here since he beat Cotto. Margo has been outboxed before and by fighters that are not as good as Mayweather like Santos and Williams. Floyd is the most technical boxer in the game today next to Ivan Calderon.

Floyd would be too fast and would be counter him all fight long. I say Floyd wins the first few rounds. Margo starts to come on late but Floyd still squeaks out a close decision.

In my opinion, we would have a real classic on our hands. Sort of like a Welterweight version of Ali-Frazier as there would be a great clash in styles.

margarito would really hurt him, break him down just like cotto. mayweather would look really good for a while but his punches would have no affect on margarito. margarito would eventually catch him with something big and won't let up until he ko's him

Wow ima have fun with you..A BOXER BEATS A BRAWLER 9 TIMES OUTTA 10...Floyd would counter and use his shoulder roll all day against Tony..Floyd would land straight right hand leads all day long...FLOYD WOULDNT KO TONY but he would put on a clinic...Floyd is way to skilled for a fighter like Tony...FLOYD WOULDN'T TRADE WITH TONY LIKE COTTO DID...THAT WOULD BE STUPID...Floyd has been knocked down 1 time in his career in which he took a knee and u seem to think Tony would ko him....Tony might land some good shots but Floyd has a chin if you haven't noticed...u might wanna research your boxing history a little more there newbie!
