A good possibility that Tomasz Adamek will get the winner of Cunningham vs Braithwaite. Bout set for this spring...It is still being worked on. Thoughts?
Damn right! :good Lots of good fights coming to this division. Adamek - Banks, USS - Brainthewaite, Mac - Ramirez, Huck -Arslan. Oh can't forget Wlodarczyk - Fragomeni in March. Danng man those are some hot fights!! That was his fault. He had 2 big fights, one of them a title shot, right in his hands, and he said no.
He should actually beat someone and build up his name if he feels like he should get the 'respect' of getting big money offers. Of course Adamek offered him a **** deal. Adamek is the champ, plus Flores is a no-name. It was made as a mandatory, meaning it would have been a 70-30 split. Not Adamek's fault that neither of them is a big name, and thus there can't be much guaranteed money.
I wasn't even aware that Cunningham and Braithewaite were going to fight. Hope they put it on Showtime or at least ESPN2. That's a pretty good matchup. Huck Arslan is also a good fight in the sense that it pretty much eliminates one guy from the title mix. It wouldn't be unheard of if the loser of that fight somehow popped up in a title fight somewhere down the road but for the time being it will raise one fighter to mandatory status. Personally, I think Adamek can take anyone in the division right now so it's basically gonna be a sign 'em up and line 'em up type deal for him. Banks might give him some trouble early on but Tomasz will ramp up the pressure and put him away. One fight has nothing to do with the other but if you're gonna tire out against Vincenzo Rossitto you better be training up in some mountains somewhere when Tomasz Adamek is your next opponent.
