Depending on the type of victory?i mean if it is really one sided? I still would say no, i mean its not like fedor just beat a bum he beat a very good former ufc champ, but obviously after the fight were gona hear the usuall talk from the announcers how gsp or penn is the best p4p fighter in the world. One things for sure we will definitley know the top 2 in the world of mma after next week.
well , if we're only counting the ufc...than we could say that either Penn or GSP will be ufc's # 1 P4P
If Penn destroys him then yes, Penn has a real and legitimate claim for P4P #1. No way can GSP get there after this fight, Penn is the smaller guy and if they are both top 4 P4P then GSP is expected to win.
Anderson has more flaws then Penn and Fedor. You will NEVER see BJ Penn mounted by a guy of Luter's caliber....NEVER.
GSP if prepared will ko Penn. What I love about GSP is if he loses he'll come back with a completely different game plan. Did it against both Hughes and Serra. I just hope Penn's in shape. GSP KO. Fedor #1 GSP#2 Silva #3
Speaking of GSP-Penn 2, BJ just recently added a bit more trash talk. BJ Penn on Hardcore Sports Radio: "It’s surprising that [Georges St. Pierre is] in such good shape without the use of steroids or growth hormones, he’s eating cheeseburgers and all that. (GSP trainer) Firas [Zahabi], after the fight, he can go home, walk to his bedroom, take his shoes off, lie down in his bed, take about 20 or 30 minutes and go **** himself." I love it.
No. I don't think either fighter will surpass Fedor as the sport's number one pound-for-pound fighter. The winner will probably end up being number two.
No Fedor has to be number 1. Before it was debatable because he wasnt facing quality fighters well check this hes finished 2 long time UFC Heavyweight Champions and top 5 ranked Heavyweights in basically a combined 3 minutes. Fedor is the best now and ever EASILY.
Not a chance. Unless BJ Penn destroys GSP via "Fedor vs Sylvia" than no way. Fedor has been dominating his weight division and recognized as #1 in HW for SIX years. No one has even come close to that. BJ Penn is 3-2 in his last 5 fights. Get outa here....
its hard to move someone out of the #1 spot when he more or less has never lost a fight and has been beating top level competition as of late
If Penn KO's or sub GSP impressively, he may be in the running. Im not saying that he will overtake Fedor. But he definitely has a good case since he is at the lower weights beating guys outside his, He would have also held two UFC titles at once
An absolute blowout win could put either past Fedor, unless the loser was clearly injured/out of shape.
