Stupid thread. If Floyd was going to outbox a monster he might as well do it against someone who hasn't already been shown up by a superior technician.

I.e Arthur Abraham. Who would stop Floyd with the first punch he landed.

First off Pavlik murders Floyd, and second even if Floyd were to win he would NOT be the greatest ever.... That title forever belongs to Ray Robinson.

Probably not but only a fool would deny him a top 10 spot.

Pavlik is not in FMJs league but would be too big, Id be shocked if Floyd could pull this one off.

Ps. I wish people would make public votes... it makes no sense to allow voters to vote then hide their identity were they dont have to explain their vote.
Floyd already has 4 votes & its likely they came from Floyd fans that dont really believe he would beat Pavlik but voted anyway.

Floyd fights religiously @ 140-147 and Pavilk fights @ 160-165. Floyd has no knock-out power @ that weight and Pavlik is murdering people @ middle. Floyd speed would be neutralized around 154-160 and Pavlik keeps his speed. Shall I continue?

 

I have no problem saying that Floyd would cause all sorts of problems for Kelly Pavlik.

Right up until he got caught by something monstrous.

Still, I could see him winning this bout. Not likely, but not impossible.
