Pac+Roach Fire the First Shots, Should Ricky Fire Back?

    Rickys holding a media conference in Manchester tommorow, Pacquiao's already throwing jibes "He's one dimensional" Roach says he'll KO Ricky by the ninth.
    Considering it's over four months to the fight the opposing camp have started early with the needle!

    It's all obviously designed to anger and instill a lack of confidence in his own ability over time.
    I'm sure they saw how PBF pissed him off and may turn to that blueprint to get on his nerves before hand and gameplan/concentration goes out of the window come fight night.

    Roach applied the same tactics against Oscar which to be honest got a bit annoying "HE CAN'T PULL THE TRIGGER" repeat ad nauseum.

    Should Ricky get in there early too?

    Nah, he didn't deal with it well against PBF.

    With FMS in his corner, he doesn’t even have too. I’m not sure where this quote has come from, but it sure sounds like Mayweather Senior.

    To be honest I’d be quite happy for Hatton to keep his head down through all this and just concentrate on his preparation.

    Just keep yer gob shut and worry about what you are going to do come fight night. That goes to every boxer, at every level, in every weight division. If you need to talk bollocks to hype a fight then you probably haven't go the goods to begin with. On the other hand if you have the goods then it will just take a nice match up to turn peoples heads.

    I can't ever remember a boxer calling his opponent one dimensional/limited/a bum/a **** etc... making change my mind from not caring about seeing a fight to making it a must see event.

    thats because your a boxing fan:deal......if the mayweather hatton fight wasn't hyped with needle, it would have passed this country by. The hype is for the casual boxing fan/sports fan

    Hope Hatton doesnt learn to trash talk like his trainer then he will look like a right *****. Mayweather was clever in what he did as he pissed hatton off which contributed towards him losing the fight with floyd. Personally I think Ricky is gunna need all the help he can get and if he takes his mind off the fight then he is in for a spanking
