actually way back when it started blowing up i though it was dumb and for wanna be thugs. then i started watching it and saw how hard that they actually work. now i like it a lot.
I enjoy mma matchups such as Torres vs Tapia and Evans' fights but most ground games are downright unwatchable for me. I prefer K-1.. There's a bad ass turkish samurai named Serkan Yilmaz and that guy is unreal. The moves he does are something out of a martial arts movie. He's crazy.
Its a fun way to spend a couple of hours, but I'm not a massive fan. The presentation is slick and its very easy to keep track of who's who in the different divisions.
I started off loving it but now I only like it. And sometimes ' just tolerate ' it. And some times I would order the PPv's and fall asleep halfway through the show. Now Irefuse to order them. If I can give a care to watch some of the older mathces on Spike TV I will watch . And even then I get kinda bored of the whole thing.
I've always liked cobat sports in general. UFC can get a bit much sometimes because it gets too hyped up with excessive promotion and propaghanda- overall though there have been some great fights (and fighters) come out of the organisation. PRIDE has a more preferable format and set up- with less 'hype' which I think can get on people's nerves. Sometime's UFC gets lost in its huge amount of sponsorships plastered over the octagon, being dropped into every sentence ("Brought to you by Xcience, the EXTREME ENERGY DRINK FOR EXTREME DUDES!!!!) GSP vs Penn's going to be sick though :yep
