    Between December 06-July 08.
What a damn shame, he could have fit in 3 fights in there. Instead he did nothing noteworthy.

He could have fought either Barnett, Overeem, Kharitonov, Werdum in that time. But nah......
What was his management thinking? Those were his best years 29-31. Thats why I was always pissed off at Fedor because he didn't fight the best competition back then, he's making up for it now I guess but at 32 he's surely just about to hit the backside of his 'peak' abilities.

A damn waste man, he threw a year and a half of his career down the drain with sitting on his hands that whole time. :verysad

In fact I could go a step further and say Fedor wasted 3 years of his prime between August 05-July 08, where he fought nobodies, like I said, such a pity he wasted so much time not fighting good challengers and adding to his reputation.

That was always the thing that pissed me off about Fedor too. Well not pissed off, just really, really disappointed me. Those were his prime years. He should have been annihilating everyone in sight.

There are worse ways to coast through one's prime than after defeating Crocop and Nogueria. It's not like we never saw what Fedor could do.

The amount ,or lack thereof, of foresight and ignorance you show by this statement is staggering.

have you ever considered it actually has very little to do with the fighter as to whether they are able to fight or not - there a numerous factors effecting when a fighter will next have a match least of all the importance of what one individual thinks.

Some people are so far behind in a race they actually think they are in front.

I would say Fedor hit his peak when he fought Zulu in pride about 2-3 years ago.
