So, uhh, is Kessler ever going to fight a viable opponent again?

you said champs. there has only been contact with froch, none with kessler or calzaghe. both kessler and calzaghe fights have been talked about by dibella, your comments were open for interpretation. you gotta a problem then make yourself more clear in future. taylor is a stay at home mofo. :yep

Well, Calzaghe called out Pavlik plenty of times. Well, until the Lockett fight happened. So was he obliged to go through with that fight because he talked about it? All I heard was he hadn't EARNED the right. Hell, it wasn't even his promoter calling for it. It was JC himself. Anyway, I have seen no indication from JC he wants a Taylor fight. Kessler is tied up at the moment fighting every stiff Palle can dream up for quick cash. And everybody is avoiding the elephant in the room. Taylor has a tv date and, assumedly, a guarenteed pay check. What is so hard to understand about that? And until foreign fighters get a fair shake on both sides of the pond, we will see more of this behavior. And lets be brutally honest here. We get bad decisions way too much in boxing as it is.

Kessler should busy up. If you can't get the high quality fighters in the ring then take out all the other ones till they have noone left to fight.

    True, and Kessler knows this.

However, the main problem is that DiBella is scared of Kessler. Taylor is not - I would think. Actually I think Taylor believes he can beat Kessler fairly easily. DiBella obviously does not.

Mikkel Kessler is WBA champ...he has ONE loss. And he´s the former WBC champ aswell.
IF Showtime or HBO don´t think Kessler isnt worth watching.
Because of kesslers one loss(Dibella´s excuse).
How the hell can anybody want´s to pay money to watch Taylor, who have lost 2 of he´s 3 last fights. And was KTFO in the first loss??
IMO there are 2 problems:Kessler NEED a new promoter, and the "top" contenders at 168 should try to do what Kessler tried,TO UNIFY!!
Carl "the cobra" froch, lucien bute, everybody who belive they are the a 168 topdog.
they are all avoiding Kessler...Because he is to dangerous.

Taylor is a middelweight, and i understand why he´s not ready for Kessler until he have some more fights at 168.

Everybody else at 168,should be ready and willing to destroy the overated eurobum, mikkel kessler...
Why do you think everybody at 168 avoiding him?

In a normal world it should not be the worldchampion chasing the challengers! it should be the other way around!

I reckon Froch will end up fighting Kessler. Because theyre the 2 standing at the side not being able to get a partner for the last dance...

I boubt Froch will want to lose his belt right away. I expect him to cash in on the belt at least one time before puting it on the line for real.

For Kessler it's time to worry about staying active and try to improve his name in US market so he can land big fights in the near future. If he wants Larsen now, it's good, but he should consider names like Miranda, Dirrel and Ward too.
