It's spelt "off", irony at its best :rofl

This is the great thing about you, an amazing ability to own yourself all in one post.

If you want to try and be condescending it is usually advisable to get your own **** in order as far as basic grammar.

I'll take your gentlemans agreement and ignore you if you kindly leave my threads and let the big boys that follow boxing outside of Hatton discuss matters.

    Okay bull**** over.

I'm not impressed with Arce in that fight. He seems to come marching in without a jab a lot of the time. He actually appears very war torn in his movements. He's kinda slow and lacking sharpness, and his reflexes are way way out. He actually gets tagged by a C grade fighter here. Even though he's 4 years younger than Darchinyan he is the older fighter.

Arce seems unable to box anymore, its just will, strength, power and durability. I think that is going to be perfect for Darchinyan, who is not only going to be the quicker, fresher fighter to go to war, but I think his new found finesse an defensive work we saw against Mijares will give him a big edge.

    Darchinyan T/KO 70%, Darchinyan Decision 20%, Arce T/KO 8%, Arce Decision 2%.

Im going for Darchinyan in this fight, after seeing what he did to Cristian Mijares last time out, i think Arce is in trouble .. Mijares is my favourite Super-fly but he was seriously outgunned and Arce takes plenty of shots to deliver his own. Plus Mijares himself has beaten Arce fairly convincingly.
Arce is such a crowd pleasing, blood & guts kind of fighter that this could be a classic, i remember a few years ago when he fought Hussain Hussain, oh man what a fight that was. That fight has to be up there with Corrales v Castillo 1 and Morales v Barerra 1 for excitement ..
Im not gonna have a bet on this fight because im on a serious bad run of predictions culminating in last weeks Margarito v Mosley fight. Ive watched that fight loads of times this week and i cant believe quite how poor Margarito was, im not taking anything away from Mosley, styles make fights but Margarito was crap ..
I found Margarito's performance reminiscent of Riddick Bowe in Bowe v Holyfield 2 .. both these guys went into the ring seemingly thinking that they're opponents were washed up, past they're best and there for the taking. Margarito/Bowe didnt prepare for a war in training and if you dont 'mentally prepare' for a war then you cant just switch that mentality on during the fight .. I dont believe this was a re-birth of Mosley and i wouldnt be surprised if he struggles next time out like he did with Cotto and Mayorga, for me this was all about Margarito's mental preparation knowing that he was on for a summer return with Cotto ..
Just a sidenote on Bowe, people forget just how good he was. A great attacking fighter, beautiful left jab with all the offensive shots in the book. Although ill disciplined in training he had tremendous heart and for me would wipe out both Klitschko's and treat Haye with contempt .. Ive got 100s of fights that i watch regularly but i struggle to watch Bowe v Golota 2. If anybody wants to see a heavyweight's career being ended in brutal fashion, watch this fight. Other than Frazier in Manilla, i've never seen any heavyweight take the amount of head shots that Bowe took in that fight. Its a truly haunting image that could of ended in tragedy, a drained Bowe taking punishment round after round before Golota goes insane AGAIN and shoots for his low blows ..
Woah sorry about that, ive had a few beers and went way off subject .... Darchinyan to stop Arce between round 9 -11 ....

I agree, I think Arce is durable and he will take some knocking out in this fight. I see it as a late stoppage.

I think Arce will get beat up before been stopped late. Arce's past his bests and takes waaay too many shots to be competitive against someone like Vic

I'll still be rooting for Arce however but I don't see him pulling off the upset.

I have never seen a Jorge Arce fight either, firstly there hasn't been any coverage of him on british tv (that i know of), secondly the super flyweights do not interest me that much and thirdly because i have never seen him fight live, i have more interesting fights to be watching on youtube with my spare time.

However I will be watching the fight live on setanta on saturday.

'The Super-Flyweights dont interest me that much' ???? That shows exactly what kind of boxing fan you are .. Your the kind of guy that likes The Middleweights and Heavyweights and dont appreciate the smaller guys, your just a casual 'Marquee' fan, to say your not interested in the super flyweights is a ridiculous thing to say if your a true boxing fan ..
Ricardo Lopez is in the top 3 fighters of the last 20 years and he is a Light Flyweight, but your not interested, you just want the 'showbiz' fighters and thats why a Legend like Lopez didnt get the credit he deserved ..
'Im not interested in the Super Flyweights', what a ridiculous, moronic thing to say .... So your not interested in Cristian Mijares, Jorge Arce, Vic Darchinyan and Ricardo Lopez ?? Your just not interested ?? What kind of Boxing fan are you ?? .. Maybe you shoud stick to your Tyson videos .. A guy like this annoys me more than a guy who hates boxing ..
How the hell can a guy come out with the statement, 'Im not interested in the Super Flyweight division .. I have more interesting fights to watch on Youtube' .... Absolutely incredible .. Kosaros my contempt for you knows no bounds, you really need to respect Ricardo Lopez if your a true boxing fan .........

What time does it kick off on Setanta ?

The bad blood in this is beautiful and Vic is going to break him down. Cant predict a round but its surely going to be a K.O. even though he is boxing more these days too. Could be any round.

A great fighter, fights everyone in his way. I really cant wait for this now i know i will get it on Setanta :bbb

A late stoppage win for Darchinyan will be my prediction. Against Mijares, incredibly, Vic showed improved boxing ability. Far from the brawler we're used to seeing he actually went in there with tactics and executed a game plan. Arce's main hope would have been to go in there and try and take Vic's head off.

I think the champ will be able to weather any early storms Arce may throw up (and I think there could be a few) and use his boxing ability to take the early rounds. After that I see Arce fading down the streych due to him being not the fighter he was. As soon as Arce tires Vic will step in with the hurtful shots and stop him.

I must say I am looking forward to this fight and I think Arce may well do better than some are predicting but I just think Vic looks very strong at this weight and will be difficult for anyone to beat.

Calm the **** down, you little shitheel.

Believe it or not, you CAN be a boxing fan and not really give much of a **** about the super-flyweights.

I have watched a couple of Ricardo Lopez fights, because I know how much love the guy gets from the experts, but that's about it.

Just as some fans don't enjoy slow, plodding, out-of-shape heavyweights, others don't enjoy watching fights where neither guy really has the power to dramatically change the fight with one punch. And if you don't like that, you can **** off, you crying internet sook.

Where does your rage come from, Axl? Are you a little midget ****** in your real life? Does it fill you with hate every time you see a 6 foot tall man reach past your womanish wingspan to easily grab the best fruit at the back of the bin, the pieces that are outside your reach?

What is going on with this pathetic little temper tantrum? Honestly, tell me, inquiring minds would like to know.

    :hat

Arce and Darchinyan have more than enough power to change a fight with one punch, as do a few other super flys. That is a big misconception. Punch resistance/Size are relative.
