Which fighters have benefited or been disadvantaged by the introduction of 12 round title fights. For example, would Oscar DeLaHoya been the same over 15 rounds?

Most fighters with bad stamina are benefited by the 12 rounders.

Guys that can really dig deep in the last couple for a win ( ala Marciano) Are hurt by the 12 rounders

re. thread: The Klitschko's would struggle over 15, as late in fights you can always see them blowin'

It's me and my dad, Alan Rudkin. Fought Harada, Rose and Olivares for the bantamweight title.

Oscar would have more stoppage losses than just to Manny if he had fought over 15.

I think a lot of the curent crop of heavyweights would come in lighter if they had to go 15 rounds.

I think the twelve round limit hurt the Heavyweight Division. Since the limit began, I have never seen so many flabby out of shape Heavyweights, Who would put in a couple of rounds work and then grab & hold thier way to a decision. If they had to go 15 hard rounds, Heavyweights would have been in much better shape. James Toney would never have ventured into the Heavyweight ranks with his flabby overweight self. The 15 round limit incentive alone would have been enough for Tyson to come into his fights in much better shape & possibly the Douglas loss might never have happened.

:? I got to admit, I always figured de la Hoya as a fighter disadvantaged by the ending of proper championship distance fights.

Oscar had no stamina problems in his early days.

Hopkins would be a TERROR over 15. Especially nowadays.
