Coming off his second win over Mosely in late 04, Winky would go up and fight Tito at 160. In '05 Mayweather would make his Welterweight debut and weigh 147 against Sharmba Mitchell.

If Winky Wright had stayed at 154 and Mayweather would have gone to Junior Middle, where he would eventually fight ODLH just 3lbs more than he was against Mitchell, how would this fight have went?

Zab gave him problems with his southpaw style early before Floyd took over, Floyd would need to be more aggressive - There's just no way in hell Mayweather takes a tough fight like this. It's in the too hard basket and Ellebre would say something like "If it don't make dollars then it don't make sense" and Winky didn't have the money earning potential.

Winky was a MONSTER at 154. Piston jab, impenetrable defense, good hand speed, and most importantly, he had the lightness of feet to move in and out of spots which made him almost impossible to beat. At 160, he fought flat footed which made him less effective. Winky would've pumped that jab at the smaller Mayweather from start to finish, probably outworking him to a 8-4 UD.

Mayweather wanted to fight Winky, he called him out. I wonder why he wanted to fight Winky. The 154 guys he always called out was either Oscar or Winky.

He called him out sure, but he for damn sure didn't want to fight him.

Man, everyday & nite you prove how ******ed you are. You know nothing about boxing, especially its past. If you did, you would've known that in 05 Winky was top 5 p4p and had a good fan base back then, he was a big draw back then.

Believe it or not, I actually think Winky would stop Floyd. If Floyd went to the ropes and tried to counter he'd be eating jabs and straight lefts all night....accumulated punishment would wear him down, even though Winky isn't a 'big' puncher.
