Come on,this is rubbish.. What's happening, are we running out of opponents? It's like playing pass the parcel. Every seems to
be fighting each other with no step - ups! BORING.. :hat

Briggs wanted Leapai on the March card which is now on fox, unfortunetly they had something bigger happening in Feb - and this is it.

Another easy win for leapai that will prove nothing. Oscar's shadow would drop him.

This matching is nothing short of a disgrace. With all due respect, one look at Oscars record would tell blind freddy that he dosen't belong in the ring with Alex.
The fact is , Oscar should not be fighting at all and the sooner the authorities realize that the better.
The state bodies, along with the promoters should hang their heads in shame for allowing him to contine this charade .
I have nothing personal against the bloke but enough is enough.
For his own sake someone with authority should tell him that's it, it's over before he gets hurt.

team lionheart does have some think big lined up but not in feb & i don't see briggs beating alex in a rematch, the briggs brothers can train the house down & fight in the states for all we care but nathan's jaw is always going to be the same....alex dropped him 7 times & in the rematch i see alex knocking him out this time.

come on here and say "this is it" sounds like your saying alex is scared to fight nathan, go and get ****ed..... if this is the case..."BRING ON ****EN NATHAN"......my brother never ducks no one....so ****en bring it you piece of ****.

it looks to me know whats to fight Leapai all the Aussie heavys are eather going to the US or booked else where i think all the heavyweights should clean up there back yard before con sidering US and Briggs realy needs to beat Big Bob and Alex Leapai to move on he has beaten Col at his 3rd go so i think he has something to prove to himself there will always be a hole there without beating these guys in my mind it is hard to know who is the best heavy in Aust because there isnt anyone taking fights with whoever these below are match ups that have never happened and dont forget we only have about 10 heavys
    Hoppa vs Leapai
    Leapai vs Hoppa
    Sol vs Briggs
    Leapai vs Sol
    Col vs Hoppa
    Briggs vs Hoppa
    Cronji vs Hoppa
    Cronji vs Briggs
    Bob Vs Sol
    Demori vs Col
    Demori vs Briggs
    Bob vs Leapai
    cronji vs Sol
    Kirby vs Cronji
    Kirby vs Hoppa
These are just a few and that only using 6 of our heavys as you can see there is some good fights there.

we've been calling out hoppa for a while now & it was recently posted on the Couriermail 2weeks ago ......also their was an article on briggs saying "he's having 2 fights in the states under melb-promoter Duncan & 3 in aussie with 1 in the mid year against leading heavyweight Alex Leapai" ......let both boys have a few fights who ever the opponents are & let them meet mid year may be on the Tua v Cameron card since briggs is a kiwi born take him back to his roots......its PPV.

    Joe Fool,

It is evident on here what happened to the Briggs v Leapai rematch but it seems it will happen this year.
As far as Bob vs Briggs, Bob was offered this fight in March aswell and asked for 25000, maybe their last sparring session on you tube had something to do with it.

I really don't think any of the top Heavys in this country Haumona, Leapai, Briggs and Hoppa have any fear factor stepping up and atleast there is a thread about this, 10 years ago you couldn't get 3 good matches from the Heavyweight division.o

Ten years ago we had Joe Bugner, Bob Mirovic, James Grima, Kali Meehan, Colin Wilson, and ****** Fortune. It wasn't all doom and gloom back then either. That being said, the division is as strong now as it has been for a long time.
