This is what Carlos Maussa did to Hatton's face... Imagine what PAC can do to that face...

Pacquiao is too accurate not to land some meaningful stuff on a target like Hatton, although it doesn't seem likely. Hatton won't post himself enough to take alot of sustained damage, and Pacquiao's best stuff is coming forward. If it took landing 9000 powershots on Diaz to crush him up it's probably safe to say some of the force comes off of Pacquiao's stuff when he's boxing. De La Hoya could have lived through his Century Bobbing. As long as Hatton doesn't get himself caught at a ridiculous rate I don't expect to see it happen.

Malignaggi punched like a girl and Hatton didn't punish him into retirement and Malignaggi isn't even top 200 P4P. He can't do it to Malignaggi, definitely wouldn't do it to a faster fighter who actually have POWER.

And Carlos Maussa was past his prime when he fought Hatton.

Paulie held for dear life.Even held onto Hattons legs at one point and once Hatton landed cleanly in round 2,Malignaggi wanted nothing to do with Hattons power. He went into survival mode.Paulie is tough also.

Nah 9000 powershots was what Hatton gave Malignaggi and the guy was still standing.

Malignaggi didn't have the power to make Hatton think twice about going into attack mode. Pacquiao doesn't have that problem.

This is going to be a fight! Speculating on who is going to give who the worst beating kind of demeans the whole event. But trying to figure out what may happen is fun.
Paq isn't the defensive genius Mayweather is, so Hatton will inflict his share of damage too. But Manny seems to be still improving, his punches are shorter, and his defense has gotten tighter. I don't think Hatton will have a strength advantage. The much bigger Oscar didn't have much luck pushing Paq around, so Hatton won't either. Hatton has faded a bit late, while Manny finishes strong. Seems like Paq has all the advantages, and even though Hatton won't give up without a hell of a fight, I see Paq prevailing maybe by late TKO.

he wasnt handled by mayweather sr in that fight...we may see a "new" hatton come may 2nd...

still i think pac might inflict the worst yet to hatton, if pac still has his speed come fight night...one thing about athletes that relies on speed/quickness, once its gone they are like garbage...

Pacquiao unlike Mayweather didn't have use for the shoulder-roll. His offense is his defense, he keeps his opponent at bay by giving them something seriously painful to think about everytime they get adventurous.
