Congratulations Cormac, the site is going from strength to strength. I have noticed links from other sites such BBC NI sport to Irish boxing .com, the message is getting out there. DUNNE HOPES TO MATCH McGUIGAN http://www.fightnews.com/?p=3505
Hello Healy, according to Irish boxing.com there's going to be a big announcement on Andy Murray's career [Andy has been selected for the undercard, along with Jim Rock and some of our amateur stars]. I would guess it most likely being a top class international opponent or EU title fight for Murray. Or on the other hand Osin ***an is claiming he is near fit for a ring return by March, so maybe a Murray/***an Irish title fight could be on the cards.
the atmosphere in craigavon leisure center on saturday was second to none...and sweet peas fight was mental.
here here! looked like a good night Cormac its great that you were able to set up a night to honour the lads as they definately deserve it!
Good show Cormac. There has been a lot of talk about McCloskey defending his British title next month in Belfast. Can you enlighten us any????????:deal
I think there would still be a lot to get sorted out first, but Id say he'll be out by the end of April at the very latest
If McCloskeys title fight is the end of april Cormac, then it will clash with Lindsay v Appleby:think
Thanks Cormac but I didnt literally mean the same night, but even a few weeks apart is a form of clashing. Maybe Im underestimating the support of boxing in Belfast but I thought it would take at least a month apart for both shows to be a complete success.I remember here in Dublin last year when Peters and Egan tried to run shows a week apart, I think both suffered badly because fans were choosing one against the other.:think
