It is a good thing that Vic pulled his punches to basically nothing. Otherwise that girl would have been in the hospital. She was getting her head snapped back with light jabs.

Have you ever sparred a girl? I have and even stretching your arm can be enough to seriously hurt them. I accidentally floored one with a very light liver punch, the entire gym hated me but it wasn't on purpose. No really, I swear.

My trainer makes me spar with girls sometimes because I can hold back, some people can't. I just go defensive with an occasional jab to the forehead, but apart from that I don't want to hit them in the face. You can't hit their bellies either, because if they bend forward when it connects, which for some reason they always do, you will hit their tits. So I thought the only place left for a light punch was the liver, but I was proven wrong. Or that particular girl just had a glass liver, not sure I haven't tried it again.

 

The more I see of Vic the more I like him. He's in my top five current favorite fighters.

Yes. Got nailed full force on a check hook and was out. Was so out, he didn't even remember getting knocked out when he was interviewed a few minutes later. It wasn't a blowout though. I think I had Donaire up 2 rounds to 1 at the time of the KO, but the whole fight was very close until that one punch KO.

 

Right. Vic was behind but competitive and then he got too aggressive and caught the big shot. He didn't look anywhere near as good against Donaire as he has in his last two fights and was still competitive so I would bet on Vic avenging that loss.
