Id say if at all possible they wont clash. However, promoters don't make dates, TV companies do (in this case Setanta v Sky).

McCloskey on Sky not RTE:huh. I was under the impression that Peters had an exclusive deal with RTE. Was that not one of the stumbling blocks between Maloney and Peters over Munroe V Dunne:deal

As far as I know there was a proviso that if McCloskey beat Lynes (on a sky card) he had to appear on three more.

Thanks Cormac, before I finish this grilling theres one more question I was going to ask that is not related to Irish boxing, but is still related to boxing. What do you know if anything about the rumor thats flying about the Brit Forum that SKY is going to buy out the rest of Mick Hennassey contract with ITV, so they can show Froch V Taylor.

IMO boxing is Waynes life if hes still hungry to fight i say let him. That being said if he wants a title fight he should have to earn it like everyone else.

I dont know some one might take a paycut to get try and take McCulloughs scalp!

I wish all the lads the best on paddys day.

did an interview with Jamie Power earlier. its only a short one so i could fit it in this week but I will have him on again before his fight to talk more.

Hes a sound lad i have to say!

I thought a European title fight was more likely than defending the british title ?
