For Something a little bit different, which 10 heavyweight matches (any fighters in history) would you make as the top 10 fights most likely to produce a draw. no matches that have already taken place.

For mine, i think i would choose as follows:

    1. Holmes vs Frazier - NO matter which way i envisage this fight, i cant really see anything but a close fight and cant decide on a winner.
    2. Frazier vs Holyfield - two fighters with great heart, so evenly matched it isnt funny.
    3. Johnson vs Tunney - Two fighters defensive masters who would both be evenly matched and struggle to land on the other.
    4. Carnera vs Willard - Two guys who are criticised for being large and skillless, this is so hard to pick. Both had good enough chins and relied on their size. This could go either way and would almost certainly be a decision fight.
    5. Louis v Dempsey - I can never decide this one. Louis should win, but Dempsey seemed to be able to grit out a win and come from nowhere. I think that it could go either way and if they lasted the distance it would be a close affair.
    6. Spinks vs Tunney - Two great light heavys who had success in limited heavy appearances. This would be a great and close fight.
    7. Corbett vs Tunney - Two master boxers, neither of whom like to be hit. More than likely this one could go for 60 rounds without either being a clear winner.
    8. Lewis vs Bowe - This nearly happened. It is hard to pick. Lewis had the better career, but Bowe had the better chin. It could go either way, and i wouldnt like to pick a winner
    9. Foreman vs Liston (i know this is controversial because of the power of both, but there is nothing between them and i just get the feeling that despite fireworks, both would may just stay on their feet the distance and if they do, it would likely be a toss of the coin that separates them)
    10. Jeffries vs Marciano - Both known for inhuman stamina. Both retired as undefeated world heavyweight champions. both had great chins. This would be an absolute bruising fight.

on lunch break at work, so dont have much time, but here are some of mine:

Marciano Vs Frazier - Frazier by SD or stops rocky via cuts
Liston Vs Tyson - Liston KO in the late rounds, strong enough to manhandle him, good enough jab to keep tyson on the outside, combine that with liston's KO power and tyson's weak mind, and i see tyson giving up when he realises he cant knock out sonny
Johnson Vs Louis - tough one to call, but my guess would go with johnson by SD
Ali Vs Lewis - probably get flamed for this, but i think lewis has a really good chance here, i think ali's defence might get exposed here, leaning straight back wont work against a tall fighter with a good jab and decent footwork, this really could go either way IMO, but i slightly favour lewis
