So the fact is ... Golota is not retired yet and he still wanna continue.
Are you really expecting that all the Golota supporters will turn back
on him just because you say so? We are all aware about Golota's
career so far (the shameful loses as you said) and about his age but
we do know that he is still competitive if he is healthy to fight.
I don't belive he will unify division or beat Klitchkos but with Valuev
as a champion he still have a decent chance to get the belt and
then leave the sport in a truly graceful fashion.
It is up to him only and whether his injury will allow him to box again.

He's just pissed because Pac doesn't have the following like Golota. So instead he crashes this thread (which is the biggest thread on the world wide web) and then makes inappropriate comments, and then says he gets "provoked". Get the **** outta here. If he was to lose his bet you wouldn't see him around, trust me.

Did he say so? That he still wants to continue? Do you have links? Or, it's only you who wants him to fight no matter how worst the embarassment he gets into. Wake up! He's no longer spring chicken like he used to. He's old and injury prone. His opponents know that he can be knocked out in the 1st round.

I am a fan of Golota during his younger years but he's too old now to win a a belt. Let him retire.

It has nothing to w/ Pac although what you said and believed is highly debatable let alone absurd in the boxing world. Pac is the biggest draw in boxing nowadays. Yes, I was provoked when somebody commented on old avatar I used. Let's just respect what we believe in just as I respect whatever beliefs you have.

My money is already deposited in Paypal account for Brisback to take in case he wins the bet. Trust me. That's only 500 bucks. It's just a fun bet. :good

Actually, it's no longer the biggest thread on ESB. In fact, we've dipped down to 4th.

But, at one point, this was the biggest thread on ESB, and if you combine the two previous versions of this thread pre-crash, it conceivably still might be, but with Golota's career winding down, not sure this one will stay afloat much longer.

    That was kinda sad!

And yeah, that was the music from Rocky. That shot of Golota dropping Grant with that jab-jab-right around the halfway point brought a smile to my face. That may have been the happiest moment of my life as a boxing fan, but 10 rounds later, that did a complete 180.

Sad that he was never quite able to get it all together in time.

But his efforts against Byrd and Ruiz will always be remembered.

The funny thing about Austin is that he is almost built like a younger Bowe.

A young Golota would have stopped Austin in 3 or 4 rounds.

That's not true Rummy! This thread is still numero uno by a large margin in terms of both replies and views, in the general forum at least.

The most elegant and emotional Golota video to date. It's sad yet uplifting. Very well done!

At the end of the video, the author shows Golota returning to the ring through the ropes, after being KO'd. This probably symbolizes the hope that Golota will come back to fighting yet again. We all have this hope.

Oh man, I didn't need that. But it was well done. Unfortunately, 3/4 of the way through, it stopped & would play. I'll try again later.

Those still pics in the locker room with the injured arm tore me apart.

Do we have a record on which boxer has generated the most number of threads in ESB? I think Pac is hands-down in this department. He has the most acttive fans and a few haters who passionately post on Pac. Well, he can't be called Mexicutioner for nothing.
