It would have been cotto but since margarito has been caught cheating. His loss is not so bad.

It didn't hurt hatton losing to mayweather cuz he gave a good fight. Look at him now he has a mega fight with the Pacman :good

So i would have to say neither one.

I have just watched Bhop v Pavlik and Spinks V Ali today. i am going to watch Margacheto V Cotto now in 20 minutes, after watching boxing all day i can judge if Marg's punches were unnaturally strong. if i think Marg's punches were unnaturally powerful i am scoring Cotto's loss as a no contest.

    Cotto v Margo easily.

Hatton took on the P4P #1 at a weight class he had already struggled at and was just outclassed.

Cotto took a beating at his natural weight class against somebody who wasn't even P4P top 20.

    I watched Ali-Spinks 1 early this morning.

Awful fight to watch, knowing that the Ali from 67' or even close to that would of humiliated him in 1 round.

Cotto's. Hatton could say that he lost to the no.1 p4p fighter at that time. Cotto? He lost to a one dimensional slugger.

cotto and margo are pretty much 2 even fighters in my book. but mayweather is on a whole different level to hatton and to anyone else aswell. so cotto against margo for sure.

They were both bad losses. Although Cotto took the most punishment so I would go with his loss are the worst.

but you can spin that the other way and say.... margo wasn't even in the top 20 p4p when cotto fought him and is slow and unskilled but beat cotto.

whereas hatton was fighting against the best fighter on the planet at a higher weight and got out classed in the last few rounds.

as far as being ko'd by the ringpost, what's worse, having the heart to get up off the canvas and trying to continue or quiting?

it's more of a margarito win more than a cotto loss...any boxer would have gone down after cotto dominated the first half of the fight

but hatton was outclassed in almost every minute

Has to be Cotto/Margo, Hatton was doing alright until he slipped!

Cotto. Funny how a lot of posters assume Margo cheated. Its not even the same fight where he is being investigated for. They dont even know what is with the paddings and yet proclaims "its plaster of Paris!" lol, the results not even out yet fgs!

Basing on how they looked after the fight. Cotto wins this.

hatton lost every round in my card, before getting sparked out.

cotto at least managed to win half the fight and outbox margarito.

damage wise you could probably say cotto, but hatton was ate plenty of punches throughout the fight.
