Some fighters say that when you get hit really hard, it feels like you just cant control your legs, even if you mind is 100% okey, the legs just wont work...
It has the oddest buzzing noise, like three or four radios in your head at once, all badly tuned. My vision was really messed up with these odd pixilated dots, and when I tried to walk around, my equilibrium was way off and I was very very nausius. Not very pleasant at all.
There have been two occasions in sparring where i was "stunned" but I did not go down. To describe it .... in both instances i did not see the punch .... I sure felt the punch then it was like a war between my mind and my legs to keep myself erect. It felt like at least 10 seconds went by and all I could think of was not going down and worrying that the guy was going to follow up with a hard flurry. Crazy thing was the time that elapsed was only about 2-3 seconds but it felt like a good 10-12 seconds....its like time slows down. It really is odd to have your mind and your body at war ...my mind refused to go down. I guess I'm mentally strong
ive been knocked out cold once, me and a bloke bashed into each other in a club, I turned around and apologised all though it werent my fault but I was out for a good time, then he told me to **** off which got my back up but I decided to leave it and as I'm turning to walk off, his mate uppercuted in the mouth which I took ok but then I remember throwing a punch and that was it, next thing I know im sat up in a corridor with a paramedic and a bouncer around me thinking what the **** just happened. I threw up after swolling blood, ended up with a broken nose, needing 4 stitches in my lip and my tooth was loose.
I've been knocked down in a fight (only been in a couple) once by someone who was about twice my weight. A misunderstanding led to a brawl and about a minute in the fight I was downed by a punch straight in the chin. I wasn't hurt by the punch (or I just didn't feel it) but I was disoriented for several seconds - everything was spinning around. The fight was stopped by bystanders before I could get back on my feet.
absolutely nothing...because you're unconscious when it happened... i rather be ktfo by a single shot from julian jackson rather than be battered through 10 rounds by the pacman....because you'll feel every punch hurt much worse as the rounds go by....
I've never been knocked out but, I once took a vicious left hook to the head and ut made me see black and then a flash of light. One second later, a weird tingling sensation traveled from my head down to my right arm. I kept fighting and my legs were fine. I ate another left hook like that and saw black momentarily, but nothing like that shot I took earlier. Gave a good account of myself thats as sure as that experience was scary.
I've had that feeling too. I was in the 11th grade fighting this Sophmore who was like 290 & like 6'6". Dude hit me with a right hayemaker. The only reason I wasn't knocked out is because I seen it coming, I just was too busy getting off my punches that I didn't move fast enough. Dude was monsterous, fortunately he was very slow.
