He could have stopped it, but he gave him the count and asked if he was okay. He came forward and wanted to continue. This was no Morrison vs Mercer. Some of posters need to relax. Cotton is actually a very good and competent ref. It is a championship fight. Some posters need to relax with this bum stuff. What are all these fighters need to fight like a prime RJJ or Ali? He is young and will be back. Adamek is the man at CW. Get in the ring with one of these bums, better yet, get in the ring with one of the female pros and then call a fighter a bum. If you can't respect a fighter, then you have no respect for the fight game.

by elite i mean p4per and when he did face a p4p type (dawson) he showed he wasnt on an elite level and if he doesnt get better head movement and angles he will never beat dawson or hopkins..

im a fan of adamek but surely his other fans can see that he can improve.. he isnt elite/p4p just yet he has to beat dawson'/hopkins , and like i said he wont do it with out better head movement.. watch pavlik/b-hop and dawson/adamek

 

well said props to Adamek for stopping a big punching cruiserweight in his first defense. This is like what haye did, stopped The Man (Mormeck), then blew out the biggest punching contender/titlist (Macca).

Great win for Adamek, in great boxing match. I wont lie - Banks was my man, but Toma showed great boxing skills and deserved to win.

Adamek is the complete world champion.
No trash talking, no unsavoury incidents outside the ring, well conditioned and prepared, ambitious etc etc.
