I think Floyd can beat Marquez, But I don't think he wants to fight him.

Same one you were. I wasn't talking about power I was talking about strength. The way Diaz pressured him to the ropes and outhustled him in spots. It made him look like the stronger man. But I agree with you Marquez is a nightmare matchup for anyone, I just feel Mayweather would impose his size.

  5. Think that too. Marquez versus the Pac/Hatton winner seems near.

Then maybe, if Floyd hasn't completely gotten out of shape, he might return to fight that winner. I never believed he would return for Mosley. Floyd lived like a spartan for so many years that it is gonna be a trial to put the genie back in the bottle. If Floyd isn't too far out of shape then he fights them at 147 (no less would be possible). He should be too strong (with a reach advantage) and skilled for either Pac or Marquez to defeat. Mosley would pose the greater risk.

Mayweather would destroy him. There's no way JMM would ever catch Floyd with what he caught Diaz with. Diaz just fights too straight forward and he can't deal with cuts, plus his corner is incompetent led by one of the worst trainers in boxing - Ronnie Shields

Why is Floyd too big for JMM but Floyd can fight Manny? JMM and Pacquiao are of the same size.

Diaz is one of "The Most There To Be Hit Boxers in The Sport" add to him being a feather fisted warrior. Its funny people are now demanding for Floyd after that Marquez win. LOL. Floyd is no Diaz.

Thats because these dastardly commentators are feeding us with information that Diaz was pressuring JMM to the ropes, when in reality, JMM was able to adjust to it as the fight went on. Sometimes the fighters are just prone at backing up maybe JMM was looking for counterpunching opportunities over an aggressive Diaz. Clearly even when backing up JMM was landing the harder/more accurate punches. He simple wore Diaz down with those body shots.

Floyd is not a very aggresive fighter who will pressure you and "impose" his style. Hed more than likely play it safe and try to outpoint JMM very subtlety using his jab and defense. No way hes bumrushing JMM because JMM isnt the attacking fighter to play into Floyds hands ala Hatton

    The fight will DEFINITELY HAPPEN.

Two things a few of you idiots need to note:

    1) Floyd asking for 20 million against Shane means nothing. He most likely was taking the **** when he asked for it b/c he didnt' wanna fight Mosley - who is clearly a bad business fight. (High risk, mediocre to poor reward)

    2) You can bet JMM would be glad to give Floyd most of the money, is lower risk than mosley, and when Floyd wins, sets up the Hatton/Pac-winner Megafight.

For Mayweather, the only fights that make sense are Sugar Shane or Paqcuiao. Cotto and Paul Williams also, but to a lesser extent.
