would i be completely alone here if thought the #1 p4p was a tie between the 2 until they fight again? they are both amazing, but marquez just koed 2 of the top dudes that have never been koed before in a weight class he's just settling into. regardless of casamayors age, even corrales never hurt him like that. popo couldnt budge diaz in their fight. marquez took their onslaught, and came back to destroy them both. i cant find it in my heart to place him in 2nd place.

jmm can't be #1 above pac. he is after all 0-1-1 vs. pac. he has to beat pac or wait for pac to lose or retire for him to be #1.

meh, I still rank JMM behind Pac. As impressive as some think tonight's win was; I've never felt that Diaz was an 'A class' fighter. No power+no defense = B level fighter.

 

boxing are 12 rounds and more punches landed... not more knockdowns....
marquez has more power punches jabs and total punches on both fights against pac man.... wasnt a robbery but wasnt either a dominant fights by pac man.... so... they are tied in p4p #1 about their profile fights

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. This certainly was a tremendous performance in one of the most entertaining fights in recent memory however Marquez was in fact favored to win by many so called experts and he did take longer to adjust to Diaz' pressure than I personally expected. No one is more deserving of the p4p best title than Pac right now. It's Pac's title to lose.
