Saw his 1rst Pro fight last night and i wasnt impressed that much...He dont seems to have big power and slaps his jab...But hes young and have time to adapt to the pro game...However he does have good variety of punches and good speed...Your toughts?
It wasnt that impressive but he'll learn and improve. It was only hes first pro fight!!. Youre right i dont think he showed he has much power but as i said it was only hes first pro fight and he'll improve. After all, if he came in and KO'd the guy in the first 20 secs what would we say??? hes a huge puncher and future world champ....comooon
He's being killed right now in the Brit forum and by the looks of it, he'll need to learn and adapt fast in the pro game to get anywhere. He also needs to cut the ****, the attention he's been getting has obviously gone to his head.
to be honest he does my head in, hes trying to be to arrogant in the way he acts and talks, maybe eubank was right????
He was decidedly composed and articulate in my view. If I were 23 and olympic gold medalist I would express an air of confidence which may be taken as arrogance too. He boxed a man who was not trying and took no chances. Job done win number one and in Britain unlike America because he has won a gold we all want him to fail quick and then well love him. Weird but true.
Articulate? DeGale is far from being articulate. He slurs his words whenever he speaks and is basically incomprehensible. His arrogance should not be mistaken for confidence either. I also disagree with your US/UK statement. Many people from the UK would consider it a blessing to have this guy fall off the radar. It's the likes of DeGale who end up doing more harm than good to the credibility of boxing.
