I think its a fight Gamboa can win..and probably should at this stage. Really Yurk could have bagged a title in his 5th fight if he was matched correctly.

I think he should probably get some more rounds under his belt though...I think guys like Cruz, John and Luevano all take him into the later rounds, and we dont really know how Gamboa will react fighting at a world class pace in those rounds.
Id be confident he beats Cruz and Steve...John would be a harder fight but when he is ready Id pick him to take that one also.

 

Well you are probably underrating John if anything by saying Gamboa shuts him out easily..With Chris' style I could see him at the very least stealing some rounds off Gamboa and giving him a good go of it.

I think Yurk could beat him too..Im not that sold on him but he is certainly an amazing boxing talent, who is destined to at least become a titlist.

John is a good solid fighter..By no means exceptional but very good nonetheless. I dont thinks in unreasonable to say Gamboa beats him clearly but I dont really see him doing it easily.

Are you talking to me, and if so, are you kidding me? Gamboa is an incredible athlete with a boxing IQ of 70. Put him against a guy like John and he looks like the ****** that he is.
