Im asking just because it's in the front page of this site..and because when i read the article it got me to think of a matchup that i had NEVER EVER thought of...so I have to ask. Who wins Cotto vs Marquez...perhaps at a catchweight...and would it be more or less competitive then a pacquiao fight.

Cotto 2nd round KO.....he's not a beating a P4P fighter at 147, 140? yeah probably (if he's tailor made for him like Hatton)...but not 147

How about Cotto vs Abraham anyone?

Come on now a fighter who started his carrer as a huge 140 lb fighter against someone what started as a Featherweight. Of course Cotto has the advantage.

I don't know about you guys, but dont get me wrong I'm a big fan of Marquez and Pacquiao and yes indeed i do believe they are the top 2 pound for pound fighters right now BUT...it's getting a bit ridiculous for ESPECIALLY "PROFESSIONAL" boxing observers/journalist to for some reason think these matches would be super competitive. For example just because a pound for pound fighter at lets say lightweight is THAT DAMN GOOD, it doesnt necessarily mean they could beat or even KO one of the best fighters at lets say jr. middleweight. Overall, it's cool to dream and imagine but It's getting to that point where it's just becoming too much.
