Which was the better fight ?

Both fights saw the older, more skilled boxer stymie the younger, harder hitter using superior technique and punching accuracy.

(Forget about the plaster-of-paris scandal for this thread.)

i.e. Which did you enjoy more, as an exemplar of what the sport is about ?

(Only answer the poll if you saw all of both fights !)

No question, Marquez-Diaz much more competitive then the one-sided destruction of "I like the feeling of plaster on my hands".

I prefer Mosley-Margarito for the fac that he's my favorite fighter. But it was a one-sided beat down rather than a real good fight.

So far, even allowing for Pngo's ill manners, the choice appears to be clearly in favour of last Saturday's bout.

And I concur. It was one of the best fights I've seen, ever.

However, the Mosley Margarito bout was also an excellent example of the sport.

And Shane was certainly more of an underdog there than JMM was three nights ago.

I wonder if the results of the poll would have been different if I'd asked

"Whose performance was greater, Shane's or JMM's ?"

    Agree.

    But Sugar/Margacheeto was more thrilling.

I'm at a bit of a loss here, McGrain.

There seems to be a wee bit of a contradiction.

    Maybe not ?

    Mosley vs Margarito of course.

If Margarito won that fight the Mexicans here would be spamming votes on Mosley/Margarito, but since the fraud ass hand of plaster was exposed in every single way a person can be exposed overnight it's not a good fight.
