Great video, I like the combination of the "Night Train" with the clips. Liston was such a beast! If he had been more active during his title reign before he ran into Ali, I think he would be more highly ranked today. His pre-title work is incredible.
Makes me think that a younger well trained Liston would have beat the **** out of Clay the first time.
in this video, we see that liston is heavy handed but his punch technique is sloppy. not as refined as lennox lewis who used leverage & his his legs to generate power. liston stands flat footed like foreman and relies on the heaviness of his hands (which are obviously more than enough to destroy the opponent).
that video of ali running from liston was hilarious :rofl i feel sorry for the poor guy who tried to get in the middle would pay 10 bucks to see whole footage with sound :good
