This response is about as illogical as it gets. Being upset for copping a suspension then publically calling the sports officialdom "Racist *******s" is pretty much the same as the throwing of the chairs back indiscriminately. It's not self defense, it's lack of anger management & responsibility. He should ask himself if he had that moment over, what would he do, if he would do it differently, as in get his mates out of the ring & show some compassion for his opponent, then he would better understand that he deserved the suspension, & take it on the chin. The old saying, "Act in haste, repent at leasure" pretty much sums it up.
Racist authorities. IF he was named John Smith and was catholic instead of Muslim. Your all a bunch of racist rednecks that agree with anything that is written in papers and that you hear on the news! So if somone throws a chair at you you just smile and look the other way? Thats like somone throwing a punch at you and walking away without throwing one back! THats what cowards do!!! Wake up!!!
nice one champ.....comfirming to the masses your a complete moron. coward for not throwing a chair......its laughable. using your brain and having the sense to know you are in a professional sporting arena and that your actions may have some ramifications is probably cowardly too.
Thats right, if he was a catholic ranga named john smith with buck teeth and freckles and threw chairs at his own boxing match he would get banned and told to stfu just like you beloved elomar.... So what that tells me is that: 1. You have no idea at all. 2. You have no idea at all. 3. take elomars left testicle out of your mouth before it wrinkles up like a prune from all your drool.
I hate it when minority groups throw out the racist card when something doesn't go their way. The fighter would have been suspended, and rightfully so, irrespective of his race. Whether he was black, white, yellow, or purple it doesn't matter.
It should have been longer. Such unsportsmanlike conduct, first by committing the offence, and then whinging like a little ***** and crying racism. It's not racism at play here it's ****ism. Such a pity, as it could have been a really great victory for Elomar and lead to better things, but instead everyone just thinks he's a scabby tool. For the twits who ask what you are supposed to when someone throws a chair at you, the correct answer is yes walk away, it takes more strength and courage to do so than to act like a ****, which is exactly what that mob of festering axe wounds did. They brought the entire sports into disrepute, by trying to be tough guys, and I hope they suffer miserably because of it.
Spot on Francis. It's got nothing to do where these dills came from. The penalty is for what they did, and they're not even intelligent enough to realise it! Go fight somewhere else...if you think you'll be missed here you really are dillusional!!
how dare any of you insult the outstanding humaninty of the lebanese race. what fine examples of men they are. you are all so lucky that they came here to spread their obvious higher form of civilisation that they display in their homeland....lebanon. never has a harder working, law abiding, respectful, intelligent, trustworthy group of gentlemen been so wrongly accused as those fine statesmen of lebanese culture that we saw in the ring that night. may allah make all of your cousins ugly, so you may not marry them! .
Sallywinder has just decided to throw a few more chairs into the audience so I will take Bognashavin's advice and let this one go - it really is not worth responding to! I do feel sorry for you though.
unemployment of australias lebanese continues to hover at the 28% mark.....fillipinos 5.6%.... shame on you australian employers for being racist towards the fine lebanese race!! its all your fault! . .
Oh yeah and I see Elomar is going to do his time, gotta love when respect comes first...[/quote] And here was I thinking he was going to do his time like a man, silly me. Once again it comes down to respect, if the Elomar crew stayed outside the ring and celebrated in style, this crap would never have happened. Well Done to CW and NSW Boxing Authority for standing by their word.
