I have it somwhere. A typical meal consisted of a large steak fried verry lightly, practicaly raw, a giant baked potatoe, a lot of vegetables, a pint of carot juice and a pint of turnip juice. You might want to look at the pickled hands thread that I am about to bump up.
Marciano was a nut for fitness ,he even had a little rubber ball on elastic above his bed , which he used to clip with alternate hands, the man passed up hookers ,his favourite foods, pasta , meatballs etc ,he EARNED his title.I dont blame him for being so tight with his money after what he denied himself to get it.
Marciano had a tremendous appetite and he enjoyed all of the traditional Neopolitan foods, Heavy Tomato sauses with meatballs,Sausage, Brasiole, Lasangna, Raviolis, manicotti, he also ate a lot of steak and vegtables...Broccoli Rabe and Escarole...lets put it this way he was a beast and that is why he had to run every day at least 10 miles...he layed off for 1 year and he was 250, but still solid
Negative, Let me explain myth from reality..............he ain't running "at least", lol, ten miles everyday. That statement is about as clueless and anti athletic as it comes. No 180-200 pound man , especially with his build and for sure he does not have a long distance runners body, will last ...........his back and knees will give out wayyyyyyyyyy before fight nite. Fact. To put it into proper perspective, skin and bone 120 pound marathon pros don't do what you are claiming...........70-80 miles a week, LMFAO, thats like a 100 -120 kilometers a week , in your dreams, no way no how. BTW, Marcianos diet before fights mainly consisted of lean steak, which he only chewed and then spit out and vegetables.
Actually, 70-80 miles per week is a low mileage for a marathon runner. Even elite middle distance runners can clock up close to 100 mile weeks.
This is true. I've seen footage of him training and I remember him sitting a table with this un****ing believeably huge meal in front of him. There was an entire chicken and everything he was digging into.
