Fighting random outsider 'contenders' in front of partisan fans with shady referees?

Let's see an Andrade rematch instead of fighting tactically-inferior perfect cannon fodder boxers who are 5 inches shorter?

Haters. He beat Andrade fair and square once, dominating him easier than Kessler until the last minute of the fight, he beat Bika more convincingly than anyone else has, and tonight he beat Zuniga much more convincingly than Pavlik or Santos did. On top of it, he's expressed a desire to rematch Andrade next, because a vocal and incorrect minority think that Andrade was robbed. Most people have Andrade as the #3 in the weight class.

Face it people, Bute's on the borderline of being world class. He's already beaten 3 of the top 10 in the weight class, and the other top fighters in the class appear to have no interest in fighting him anyway. Not his fault there aren't a lot of top fighters at 168.

That's pretty much it. This guy has a seriously padded record and he only fights at home. When he is forced to leave his home turf, he will get exposed.

I'd pick him to beat both. Kessler is too predictable, and Taylor is too lackadaisical. Focused Taylor could beat him, but I think I've seen focused Taylor like twice in his last 10 fights.

He'd give Calzaghe a lot of trouble at this point, if Calzaghe hadn't retired, although I do think Calzaghe would end up winning on workrate.

I'd pick Kessler to beat him but that's it.Taylor would be thesecond best chances.Have to see how he does against Froch though.

Someone else better get popular then. How many fighters in the world can sell out a 13,000 seat stadium every time out fighting against a no-name? That was Bute's 7th consecutive sellout of the Bell Centre. He's never going to need to leave home until someone else develops a big enough fanbase to drive the economics. Other than maybe Kessler or Taylor, everyone else SHOULD come to him because he's such a huge draw, but he's really only a draw in one city.

If they set him up to fight at MSG, I'd buy tickets.

Anyone who badmouths Bute as a stay-at-home fighter while in the same breath singing KESSLER'S praises needs to just shut the **** up.

I disagree that Bute beats Kessler. Bute gets beaten by Kessler on what we've seen from the two fighters and on analysing the way their styles match-up. To me, that's pretty clear. Bute v. Taylor...now that would be a good, close fight, I think.

Kessler's been fighting in the other guy's backyard A LOT! Mundine, Calzaghe...

...Bute hasn't...but if everything works out for him, he'll be fighting in Las Vegas soon.:good
