Sure.... a TRUE FIGHT FOR KHAN... should be with Valero ... Marquez... or SuperPAcman

  3. Khan was never in trouble or hurt...... Theres a big diffrence from getting hit then backing off than being hurt.

Hmm not sure about that,,, Khan was definatley wobbled in the 4th... He staggered forward and clung on....

Its all bull**** ayway, the fight should have been a NC no question....

Lets wait and see what happens when Khan steps in with a geuine lightweight..... I think we all know the outcome!

I said stunned, not hurt......about a minute before the stoppage, MAB hit Khan with a good right hand that I thought Khan felt......he quickly moved and danced away and recouped......

......my point however is that more of those types punches may have come from MAB in the later rounds......

Khan was operating on an aging fighter who had blood flowing into one eye.....MAB's vision was impaired, so obviously its going to be difficult for MAB to get into position to counter Khan when his vision is impaired, and he's keeping busy just wiping the blood away from his eye.......
The younger faster fighter always has the speed advantage early.....case in point Jermaine Taylor vs Bernard Hopkins in their first fight.....
Taylor's speed kept Hopkins out of the fight in the first half, but experience came into play in the second half, and it was Hopkins dominating the later rounds while the younger faster Jermaine Taylor just barely hung on for the victory.....

With Khan's questionable whiskers.....he may not have been able to hang on if MAB's experience would have abled him to turn the tide in the second half......

Listen, I'm just pointing out factors in the fight as a neutral observer......MAB is'nt a favorite of mine....

.....and as for Khan, like I said, its the first time I see him and his offensive skills impressed me.....

....but lets tell it like it is.....nobody knows for sure that he'd have passed the test vs a MAB operating without that cut.....

I know I make my posts long, but ****, I like to make myself clear....:D........case in point, two weeks ago
    JMM vs Juan Diaz......

Like Khan against MAB, Diaz got off to a good start.....in fact most posters in this forum that Diaz based on the first three rounds of that fight was off to a certain victory........
......we all know that a Juan Diaz victory was'nt the case, JMM's experience, skill, and know how took over from the third on......

.....now, what do you think the outcome of that fight would have been had JMM suffered the same nasty cut that MAB suffered tonight vs Khan.....

I'll tell you what would have happened.....JMM likely would not have been able to see Diaz' shots coming and gotten himself in positions to see and counter Diaz' aggression.......had that happened, this whole forum today would be saying that the cut did'nt matter, Diaz just overwhelmed an old JMM and that the cut is just being used as an excuse......

No sireee.....JMM did'nt suffer a cut like MAB's and so he had the opportunity to see, disect, and counter the crap and KTFO Juan Diaz.......but had JMM been cut like MAB was tonight, I seriously doubt that JMM would have had the opportunity to position himself to win that fight.

LOL Khan won fair and square.

Don't excuse the headbutt, Isn't MAB well known for head butting his opponents?

That's why there is something called ACCIDENTAL.

EVen without the cut, Khan was clearly outboxing and outspeeding Barrera. I bet most of you didn't even watch the fight and already blaming the cuts and excuses and all.

Khan performance was impressive yes, But his chin still lacks it if he wants to go for a long long way.

    Give CREDIT you a-holes!

I wonder if the roles were reversed what the reaction would be?

As a neutral, I have a feeling that the MAB fans would be saying exactly the same as what the Khan fans are saying now.

My view? Khan looked much improved under Roach, his speed and cluster punching was impressive and he's adapted his style to keep his hands up at all times BUT his chin is still a huge question mark.

I can really pass to much comment on MAB other than he is a tough SOB.

Interesting that he said Khan's punches didnt hurt him, I thought Khan had a punch. Perhaps this was Marco's pride talking - who knows?

Shame about the cut but thats
