What's with all the 'paki' **** tonight, that's the 2nd thread I've read that phrase in :huh

Why can't we just dislike people for being ****s any more, regardless of their race?

    Based on what????

Getting knocked out in 53 seconds by an unknown???
Beating an Irish School teacher in ur return fight???
Beating a load of blown up feathers??
Or conning the country into thinking defeating MAB was legit???

Marquez aint getting any younger and Diaz did have him in all sorts of trouble early in their fight. Khan is faster and stronger than Diaz and would not just wade in like Diaz did against Marquez.
I think it would be an interesting fight. Marquez would slow him down with his body shots and KO him late if he survives the early onslaught. All I hear about is how weak Khans chin is, but no one can deny how great is offence is.

If, in about three or four years time, a totally shot to pieces Marquez is still on the scene taking fights for paydays, then yes, this fight may happen, and yes, Kahn will win. But as things are at the moment Warren would not let Kahn anywhere near Marquez.

Khan is completely marketed on his offence, speed etc, thats where his abilities lie. Trouble is if your chinny then your ****ing chinny and your gonna get knocked out....

First of all, his reception in Manchester in his 'home' country was a bit of a mystery.

I can see cheering a legend like MAB, but booing Khan ?

Second, from the few interviews I've seen with the boy, Khan is a nice young man who has earned his country a silver medal at 17 years old and, despite the handicap of a weak chin, has made a decent start to his career. No ****-like qualities were detected.

So undoubtedly some (maybe most) of the hate stems from his Paki status.

But glad to hear you hate him for non-Paki reasons !

No one can deny that his punch resistance is garbage, but he has the skills to stop his opponent before they can catch him. Now he's fighting at a higher level, I doubt he'll ever hear the final bell again.

    Obviously JMM would be favored......
.....Marquez stops him sometime after the midpoint imo.....

.....but quite simply this fight will never happen....
Marquez is 35 years old going on 36 I believe, and matchups against young up and coming prospects just is'nt a good idea for a fighter looking to put a stamp on his legacy.

Like JMM said after knocking out Diaz.....he wants nothing but big fights....which mean established stars like Hatton, Pacquiao, Mayweather.....

.....let the young guns duke it out with eachother and look to take JMM's place once he's retired.

JMM wins by death, that said Khan does not deserve to be in the same ring with JMM.
