I think that Diaz could beat him. IMO Pac doesn't like fighting in close quarters he prefers to live off that one two, particularly the left. I would love to see how he handles getting backed up, as I don't think he is a natural counter puncher. If Diaz can keep his guard up and try to use that jab and avoid getting hit on the way in I think he could do well.

I personally think that pac would struggle with a guy that tries to back him up, much like guys likt KT and Forrest did, who were aggresive punchers who's key weapon was there jab-cross. Once people get inside that distance they are much less effective, and can be beaten.

    nutthugger?
huh? get real. The quick but feather fisted Diaz is no match to Pacs devastating power.

It's 50-50, but in terms of quality of opposition Pac has the edge (Barrera, Morales, Marquez) but I'll still root for the Storm Across The Pacific.

    Diaz by late TKO.

Im basing this mainly on the fcact that Diaz is a lightweight, and Pac has never beaten a world class lightweight. I think itd be a tremendous fight, def a FOTY candidate, but I think the naturallly bigger man could grind out the win.

Pac came in the ring at 144 at one point looked solid muscle. He now has a mean right hook that will stagger Diaz if he catches him. Dont think the 5lb would make too much a difference. Juan Lazcano, the guy who gave Vivian Harris a tough fight was apparently one of Pac's sparring partners for Morales.

    :huh

What relevance does that have to the thread. Perhaps if we had footage showing Pac dominating this guy in sparring it might, but the mere fact that they sparred doesn't prove anything.

The fact that he has a WW for a sparring partner gives evidence to Pac being able to hold his own at LW. What would be the point of putting Pac in there with a bigger man for sparring? Obviously to get used to the size and power than Lazcano will bring...and fact is, Pac must have held his own for them to keep Lazcano around.

Fair enough. I still think it is hard to judge without knowing what intensity or what the outcome was, but I can see your point.:good

Yea I must admit, it did sound quite irrelevant the way I said it...but thats how I saw it anyways.

This would be a great fight though, regardless of outcome. Too bad though, Pac cant be leaving 130 until he cleans house...if he cleans house.
