A guy that Abraham nearly decapitated.

is MW weak or is Abraham that good?

I apologize for perhaps missing the point of your post, i.e., to gain insight about the quality of Gevor, but I believe I can categorically assert that middleweight is pretty dreadful right now outside of Pavlik, Abraham, and Sturm.

I can't name a weaker division. It has zero depth.

Gevor is a pretty good boxer, went toe to toe with Abraham but tried to brawl. He deserves #4 imho. He beat Asikainen in his backyard....

So what?Have you seen him fight?Guy is an excellent fighter. He is IMO the third best MW after Pavlik and Abraham, the fact that he lost bad just shows how good Abraham is.
Gevor is a tough cookie, deserves his ranking.

Gevor is a very decent fighter. I for my part had him ahead on points after 8 rounds in his encounter with AA.
I for one have no problems with the ring's rating here. There are not that many fighters at middle weight who can beat him.

Gevor has earned that ranking and without the "Abrahammer" it would've been possibly a SD (still in favor of AA).

It is definitely not a deep division right now.

The top 3 are far better than the rest: Abraham, Pavlik and Mundine and Sturm. Sturm is a mediocre champ at best, and Mundine has been bottom feeding too much lately.

    Basically Pavlik and Abraham.

    Then a huge gap..

    Mundine and Sturm..

    and then ....

    Noone.

    Absolutely NOONE.

    Absolutely none?`????????????

Nah! Silver olympic medalist Golovkin will soon get a shot at a world title, and Pirog has made quite a lot of noise within the last couple of months.

Both Golovkin and Pirog have the necessary skills to beat both Mundine and Sturm in my humble opinion.
