I like the thought you put into your analysis, but you missed the mental part a bit... Intimidation was a huge factor for Tyson, a lot of his opponents were beaten before they got into the ring. I don't think Foreman would be intimidated by him, and that would play into it quite a bit. I'm not saying Tyson couldn't have won, but it should be factored in.

Intimidation was probably a big factor for Foreman too.

Tyson would catch up to Foreman by the 7th or 8th round. Big George was tough, but there'd only be so much he could take from a prime Tyson.

Mike is one of the toughest match ups out there. George is the monster who crushed Joe Frasier. This is one of the most interesting fights I can think of. I think that George has the right size, and the extreme power to take Mike out.

I got Foreman by mid rounds KO. Tyson never fought someone with the power or chin of Foreman. Foreman can eat punches all night long. He just exhausted against Ali it wasn't his chin that let him down it was his stamina after wailing away like a madman and Tyson's already proved he's KO'able. I see no scenario where Tyson wins. We are talking prime for prime here right??

He wasn't eating shots from Ron Lyle, he was feeling those.

Foreman was tired yeah, but that punch from Ali definitely hurt him, it's not like he just couldn't get up from exhaustion, he got KO'd. But it doesn't really matter cause Tyson hits much harder than Ali.

Foreman showed he's KO'able too. Lyle, a guy with limited skills,, but good power (not a bad fighter but nowhere near Tyson) caught him and hurt him bad, almost KO'd him. Tyson had that kind of power, and much much more. I'm not saying Tyson wins, but I can see it happening.

i always thought this would be a better fight than ali vs. tyson. just because of the slugger aspect of it.

you could make a good case for either one winning.

The physical skills are so evenly matched it has to come down to heart and mentality. Tyson never won a clutch fight. End of.
