I have no problems if the fight would have been stopped right then and there in the first round......

.....but I understand that it was a big fight and a big promotion in England......so I would understand if they would have given MAB's team 1 or 2 round to control the bleeding.

Once MAB comes out for the 3rd and he's still bleeding without punches being exchanged....now thats ridiculous, its time to stop it......

Its not just about the danger, which that was a dangerous cut........but its also about fair play......

There comes a point when a ref should reaiize that the cut fighter does'nt even have a chance to get into the fight at the rate the blood is flowing......
....for the sake of not only the danger, but fair play....you stop the fight right then and there.....

Spare us anymore Cobbler, even Khan's own family knows that the sole reason that it was allowed to go into the 5th round is so that the hometown fighter could have his hands raised!

the fight should've been stopped in the fourth since this was the time the doctor was finally called in by the ref during an actual round. but the ref could also have stopped it earlier in the 3rd, 2nd, or even in the 1st. i'm sure that the doctor was also looking at that cut in between rounds so he and the ref could've stopped the fight earlier than the 4th or 5th rounds. the question is really why did both of them wait until the 5th to finallly call it off. they sure as hell knew that waiting one more round makes a difference between this fight being a NC or a technical decision for khan.
