Boorad created this shite thread because he is a shite poster. Karmazin in his last two fights was ko'd by Bunema, and beat McKart...McKart lol, and is now ranked at #5 at what weight???lol. Tom, Boorad is saying that "based on AA's performance against Simon" lol... Don't you think Boorad is trying too hard to get on people's nerves lol.??? Karmazin couldn't even hurt or hit Spinks...and Taylor couldn't also, and Taylor is somehow a great win for Pavlik lol. Just goes to show that AA and Pav need to get it on because if Karmazin is the #5 mw at 36 years of age, maybe Hagler might come back. Hell, dig up Monzon lol
Knowing Roman pretty close, I think he is an underrated fighter even among hardcores. Few know this but Roman was terribly affected by influenza during his fight with Bunema. Still he was giving him a beating in the first half before being simply broken into pieces while the fight progressed. At his prime, Roman is a versatile all-around fighter who is able to defeat every man in both weight classes. Being 36 doesn't help much but if he restores his best conditions (and he can do it) he definitely has some chances against 160lb Abraham. King Arthur has already outgrown this division and is struggling terribly to make the weight limit. I scored his fight with Simon omly 115-113 in his favor based on how rare his spurts were. Stylewise he is also a better choice than, say, Felix Sturm. So, I guess, Roman shouldn't been written off...
You are right, stalker! Roman was a classy fighter in his prime. A pity that he didnt get the big fights then!!! I can still remember his destruction of Orhan Delibas, a Dutched based Turkish olympian who was hyped a lot then. Roman beat the living **** out of him schooling him in front of his home crowd making him quit the pro business for good. Sadly, this times are over.Roman isnt in his prime anymore. He may still be good enough to give Sturm,Mundine,or Gevor hell, but both Pavlik and AA would murder him.
I wouldn't mind seeign this fight I've always been a fan of Made in Hell and would like him to get a shot at the title before he retires.
On one hand I agree. I'd love to see Karmazin get himself a nice payday and a title shot. On the other I've been vehemently against mismatches in the MW division and this is just another mismatch. I'd be wrong to back this one and hate on the others just because I like the fighters involved. So no go on wanting to see Karmazin vs Abraham.
Karmazin has not earned the right to face a guy like AA anyway. I wouldn't mind seeing the fight, but there is a top 10 at mw. We haven't even seen AA-Pav yet.
Well -- Roman is the NABF titlist now, and you now how the WBC works. That title will lead to an eliminator, and Roman may well win. So, one way or the other we're probably going to see Karmazin against either Pavlik or Abraham before long.
