Julius Francis was a journeyman with some good wins and fought a who's-who of European boxing and some top world names too, although he did get stopped a few times. John Ruiz, Zeijko Mavrovic, Axel Schulz, Vitali Klitschko, Mike Tyson, Sinan Samil Sam, Vladimir Virchis, Alexander Dimitrenko, Luan Krasniqi, Audley Harrison, Matt Skelton, Taras Bidenko, Roman Greenburg. Also has a win over Danny Williams and some other decent undefeated Euro fighters and beat some of the best of British to win the Lonsdale belt outright and Commonwealth title.
David Jaco won 24(ko19)-lost 25(ko18) drawn 1 lost to: Mike Tyson Tommy Morrison George Foreman Oliver maccall Alex Stewart James Buster douglas Carl Williams Tony Tucker only that he lost ko`s good names anyway. and this guy knocks out Razor Ruddock
Part of the reason why the HW division is so blargh nowadays is that there ARE no litmus tests at HW for young up and coming fighters. There isn't a Nate Campbell or Joel Casamayor or Glenn Johnson for prospects to push these guys and find out what they're really made off.
Arriba, is that Skeeter from...what the hell is the name of that old cartoon... oh yeah, Doug? I used to watch that all the time when I was growing up.
A lot of the journeymen that have been mentioned are from the 90's.. i am trying to bring the millennium journeymen to the table.. Calvin Jones and Nate Tubbs, along with Sed Fields are all from the 90's.. Mo Wilson is too along with David Jaco... Zuri Lawrence is one from the 2000's and so is Jameel really... Before you know it Chazz and Malcolm Tann will be recognised as such.. Dominick Guinn is going down that route now also.. Mike Sprott is a very good european example................
Oh yeah, right. Skeeter was Doug's friend right? The blue dude with the big nose? Yeah, I can't seem to get rid of Bowe. And I think that this avatar suits me, so I stick with it.
Friday just beat 2 unbeaten guys that were a lot younger.. Ko12 Shane Cameron in NZ........ Pts 10 over Alonzo Butler in Las Vegas on a Banner promotion show, when Banner promote Butler.. Friday dropped the unbeaten Butler heavily in the 4th.. I work fridays corner, we just waiting for a new opponent in about 6 weeks.. God bless...........
Cisse Salif This guy is durable as a rock, but loses everytime he step up a true journeyman. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=16787&cat=boxer
