There are a lot of similiarities brtween the two. Both Olympians, both very fast exciting young fighters and both are real chinny.

Who do you guys think is the better fighter with the brightest upside? I'm not too hot for either one of them but If I had a gun to my head i would say Gamboa has the slightly better career when all is said and done.

Gamboa has been down a bunch... but everytime I've seen him down, he's got up almost instantaneously. And shows no ill-effect from the knockdown. Khan has been wobbled and almost stopped by light punchers like Willie Limond.

I like Gamboa's prospects MUCH MUCH better

gamboa is a legit top 5 at 130 or 126....khan is not top 10 at 135

Gamboa gets up angry and fights harder.

Khan gets up and wobbles around like a newborn deer.

    There's a difference between them.

There ain't much about them the same.
Gamboa ain't chinny is the main difference.

Not Chinny? Really? he's been down what 3 times already? Only one has come by a top 25 guy in Darling Jiminez.

Once was by Darling Jiminez and another was by a brutal MMA style elbow smash.

The last fight I missed but I heard he got up instantly and dominated aka typical Gamboa stuff.

    Yes,not chinny.
It's balance,he is off-balance when he goes on to lead,he comes with his head forward and get's caught off balance. He got up eveytime and wasn't even shook up and once he was hit flush with an elbow.
    Hamed did the same thing.

Gamboa's trainer is Khan's old trainer Rubio, right?

there is an easy way to get a legit answer here...put them in the ring together. gamboa can support the extra weight easy. i think he would take khan down

Gamboa is too short, ideal for Khan.
