Is it just me, or does JCG look a little "touched" in the head?

That's the best picture I found to judge JCG's shape. His upper body looks to be in excellent condition, altough how he looks downstairs is the info I was looking for. An in shape Gomez can give Vitali serious trouble, and despite weighing 230, I think he's at least in very decent shape.

Now it's a bit tougher to make the correct pick. I'll probably end up picking Vitali by UD in Kirk's thread, but already put some cash on the Cuban. They both know each other from sparring, so it'll take no time to figure each others' style out, but also rumors say Vitali had the better of the sparring and he throws the more punches, so I guess UD for the Ukranian looks to be the correct pick. We'll see! :thumbsup

    There you go:

    :hi:

Vitali: Gomez lost his nerves, he shoved me away although the fight hasn't even started yet, he's clearly nervous.

Gomez: I've got so much adrenaline in my body right now, I had to let it out to get the people fired up for the fight, to let them know they're in for a great fight tomorrow and that they're having the new champion in front of them!

Vitali: I'm one hundred percent prepared, fully concentrated... only 24 hours left, let's go.

Gomez: Tomorrow you'll all see the new champion, that's all! Showtime on RTL, thank you!

What is it about Vitali that makes fighters decide to come in heavy? Lewis, Johnson, Sanders, Williams, Peter, now Gomez. They all came in at career high weights or near it.
I think Vitali is secretly sending his opponents cookies in the mail.
In Gomez' case it won't matter much. I don't think he's good enough to win, even if he was in better shape.
