Freddie Roach believes Wlad hits harder than Tyson

Is anyone listening to what i am saying . Corrie t rex sanders a sparring partner for both tyson and wlad said tyson hit much harder. Why people dont rate tysons punching power i dont know . tyson used to knock his sparring partners with 18 ounce gloves . If thats not amazing power i dont know what is . Where was wlads ko power against rahman and botha . guys who lewis and tyson knocked out with one punch. chris byrd said tua hit much harder than either klitschko. wlad punched hard but he wasent the hardest puncher.

Roach would be WRONG if he said Wlad hit harder than Tyson in his prime. IMO

 

A friend of mine went to germany to spar with Darius M. in preperation to a fight..he saw Vlad in the gym hitting the bag..this kid trained in N.Y. gyms with heavyweight Shannon Briggs. Lou Saverese,Tyson and many others but he told me he could not believe the way Vlad double up the heavy bag when he hit it...He said the bag almost folded...He said he was a bit robotic but he said he never seen anyone with that much power

Lots of people here don't want to accept the truth/are haters. Punching power doesn't fade with time or a little. He didn't say Wlad was better than Tyson. He hit harder the mits. that's it...

Tyson was more agressive, fast and threw his shots in combination, but I also believe that Wlad had a better one punch power. Even in terms of speed for his weight, Wlad throws his 1-2 at a really good speed, of course there's no comparison to the power combinations of Tyson.

 

He probably does. I mean anyone see the right hand that knocked Calvin Brock out? Wlad has a thunderous right hand when he lands it. Problem is a lot of time he is too tentative to put everything behind it.

 

Have you seen the right hand that KO'd Spinks, Berbick, Holmes etc.....

Tyson has more power. The way people would get hit by Tyson and then you could see in their eyes that they didn't want anymore.

 

Yes, but i think Wlad has that kinda power. Tyson goes looking for it though from the opening bell, and he did starch a lot of people early when they were caught cold etc.

We are talking about one shot power. just power, not speed, accuracy or anything. Like punching on a punching bag. In terms of pure power, Wlad punches harder, in a ring Tyson is deadlier. that's it.
